Just received my built 400 transmission and 2700-3000 torque converter can’t wait to make moist

Excellent work, good price. I dropped off my classic and they called me with a price, took about 4 days to finish, no complaints. Ill update if anything changes

Great company. They have rebuilt multiple transmissions for my company's fleet vehicles with great results. Good communication unlike other shops I have dealt with and very fair prices. Wouldn't trust anyone else.

We waited for nearly 2 weeks for any work to be done. Every time we stopped by he said he was getting to it but had some "really neat old cars" he was working on. He starting avoiding our calls when we'd call for an update. He said that he changed the torque converter and flushed it but the problem we had from before continued. Taking it to another shop, the fluid was completely black. Pretty sure we paid, and no work was actually done.

Day 1. Early November Monday late morning visit. Described to the owner, the problem and was promised a diagnosis and a returned call during an obvious busy day with numerous client automobiles repairs underway. Day2. In person visit to learn the original problem was not correct but was determined to be a more minor problem; the complete repair price was half of the original quoted price. Picked up the auto and problem resolved. The busy establishment is a private mid to large sized transmission shop. At the time, in coming calls were not being answered. When we arrived to J & W Transmission, the owner explained more than he had more than enough business and was not excepting in coming calls.
