I was going to purchase a used vehicle and wanted to get a pre-purchase inspection (PPI) performed prior to completing the transaction. I called Kevin from the dealership and set an appointment to have this service done. Kevin did a thorough check of the vehicle, including a computer diagnostic check. Fortunately, no items were detected that warranted not purchasing the vehicle. The rotors needed to be turned and break pads replaced. I made the appointment for this week to have the work done at a fair price. Kevin is very knowledgeable and has a great personality. They also have a nice waiting room.

I’ve been looking for a reliable mechanic in the area for a while, and even though I've dealt with other options in Los Lunas, the trip to Jack’s Desert Sage Auto in Bosque Farms is absolutely worth it. The new owner truly took care of me. I brought in my mother-in-law’s car, and not only did he do quality work, but he made accommodations and showed a level of customer care that I haven’t experienced since leaving New York. It’s rare to find a shop that combines honesty, professionalism, and genuine hospitality, but desert sage delivers all of that. This will be my go-to mechanic moving forward, and I’ll be bringing all my vehicles here whenever service is needed. Thanks I really appreciate your work and the way you treated me

Kevin did a very professional and thorough pre-purchase inspection on a vintage motor home I was considering. Saved me from buying a money pit. He really knows what’s he’s doing. Best $108 ever spent.

We are so grateful to have found this shop for an urgently needed alternator replacement on our only operating vehicle. They were quick, kind, fair, and our vehicle runs even better than before. They also recommended a couple easy things we could change/fix ourselves to save some money and improve our vehicle’s overall maintenance and performance. The attached herbalist shop is very lovely, as well. I love that it’s all a husband-wife/family operation. 10/10 recommend. We will be back.

The issue was fixed and they were honest about the parts needed. The pricing was on the higher side. Also note that Dave is no longer the owner and mechanic.
