Jack's Transmission

Wouldn’t recommend. I took my truck here for a diagnosis and they came back and said my torque converter likely had failed and it would be around $1500 for repair. I went home, did some reading and added two quarts of fluid. Haven’t had any issues since and it’s been almost a year. They could’ve atleast checked the fluid, takes 5 minutes. Guy seemed pretty rude and unwilling to hear what I had to say, kept overtalking me too. Even if my torque converter failed I would’ve gone somewhere else for repair.

Jack is your go-to guy for transmission work. He has an honest, professional, hardworking shop and his prices are reasonable. He's been in business s lot of years and knows his stuff. My brother and sister both have used him and highly recommend his services. I had my car towed from Tulsa to Muskogee to his shop and wasn't disappointed. He even called the next week to make sure I knew of a problem with my front end. Very nice person.

Jack's is absolutely the BEST transmission shop in all of S.E. Oklahoma! Jack rebuilt my transmission in my 2004 Chevy 2500 HD almost 400,000 miles ago and its still running great! I just had him replace the transmission in my 2014 Chevy 1500. He did a fantastic job and his price was more than reasonable! He communicated with me and gave me the choice of rebuild (which would have made him more money) or replace which made him less money and saved me $1,300!!!

I took my car to have it checked, because it is still slipping out of reverse. But sometimes would shake a little in first gear when I took off. No matter the speed I told him it only did it in first gear and you think since he’s been in service so long he’d know there’s a problem with a transmission that it’s doing something it shouldn’t I drive he car everyday and he came back after I guess joy riding my car for $75 and then telling me nothing wrong with it he literally has my grandparents thinking I’m stupid. I would t recommend this guy at all. But yall can take y’all’s chances
