Jamison Auto Group

I took my 1965 Mustang into Jamison Auto Group in early March 2025. I found them online advertising a specializing in European, Classic, and Muscle Cars. I was having problems getting the car started. I was also having some overheating problems, and I wanted them to look at my brakes (4 wheel discs) to see if we could improve the brake pressure. It's now October of 2025, I'm about $10,000 in receipts, and the next receipt will be for a tow truck to pick up the car because won't start. It stripped the starter, flywheel, or both when I went to pick it up after it went untouched for 3 weeks AFTER I brought it back the first time. Please disregard my previous comments about Jamison Auto Group being a great group of folks. I took my Classic 69 Chevelle to them trusting that they knew what they were doing. I was in town for Cruising the Coast and was in need of a new alternator. I called my mechanic in my hometown and he stated to me that any good mechanic should be able to handle the repair and as it was a basic repair. Jamison Auto Group we went to Jamison Auto Group and explained the problem and relayed what our mechanic conveyed to us. Low and behold shortly after picking the car up we noticed Clue # 1 the wiring to the alternator was melting and burned up. We took it immediately back to Jamison Auto Group and they stated they had put the wrong gauged wiring on the car. We get back home and a short time late

Let me start by saying the people are very nice and friendly. I dropped my car off at 830. Was told it was going to be up to 4hrs. Which was about right probably 30 minutes off. The problem comes with the price. When asked prior to coming the young lady stated the price would be 195. When the service was finished the price was almost 300. Thank God I brought extra money. She stated the way the system works is what made the price higher. Just in the future if someone calls ahead for service or prior to you working on their car discuss the price. It should have been honored as what was discuss over the phone even if the system had other plans. 11 hours after service and my break pedal is going to the floor. I received a 30yr Mercedes W140 and was up in the air as where to take it. It was my lucky day when I saw his shop online. I needed my trunk repaired so it would close all the way. I told him while that while it was there to please look it over and do what it needed. After he completed my car. It us running like a new car. I'm pleased to report that i have found a shop for my mercedes. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone who needs a great mechanic for their car especially their foreign car.. the price was reasonable for the work performed.

I took my truck to have a loose alternator bracket repaired. 5 weeks later, the alternator belt was so loose thr battery quit charging. The professional repair shop I took it to told me the bolts were cross threaded, the belt wasn't ran correctly and was ruined. When I contacted Jameson automotive, they refused to take any ownership and blamed the alternator! I sent actual Pics of the failed work and offered to send the stripped out bolts. The response I got is in the Pic below.. don't ever, ever allow them to work on your vehicles.
