Kevin and his team are incredible. They are detailed and thorough in their work and explanations, extremely knowledgeable and kind. My gen 6 Honda Accord was experiencing transmission trouble typical of that model, Kevin provided excellent advice throughout the process of rebuilding the transmission for my car. They provided photos and videos of the process and parts to show how they addressed the issues my transmission was having, as well as in-person. They also replaced my engine and transmission mounts with genuine Honda parts at my request. I had been dreading this transmission work and spoke with several shops searching for someone to do this work. When I initially called Kevin his shop stood out among the rest: He provides excellent customer service and is very helpful with questions

I don’t usually leave reviews, but Kevin truly deserves one. I spoke with him last month for advice and again recently when my transmission unexpectedly went out. He spent over 30 minutes talking with me, grounding me, listening without rushing, and offering honest, practical solutions. Not everyone takes the time to genuinely help when someone is stressed, and that says a lot about his character and professionalism. If I had a car he worked on, I would 100% trust this company. Highly recommend

I can't recommend Japanese Transmission Shop enough! They were incredibly honest and upfront about the repairs my transmission needed, and the price was very fair. The staff were friendly and explained everything clearly, making me feel confident in the work they were doing. I'll definitely be returning for future maintenance

These guys are awesome. I called just to ask some questions about my transmission on a Lexus GX 470. This guy was knowledgeable and straightforward. At that I told him that I lived in Tennessee and have been searching all over the country for answers. and he still treated me with some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. If the shop wasn’t 2000 miles from me, he would 100% be fixing my car. Reliable and honest people show their colors very quickly and I can absolutely tell they are good people running this business.

Kevin was open, friendly, communicative about exactly what would be done by the team here and why, plus saved me a good chunk of change vs. the dealership with the same warranty on the parts and labor. Glad to be able to drive my car safely again for many years to come.
