I was going to use this place because I used them before. I think they might have changed owners or managers. The man was older and I waited and waited and finally the man came to the office. I asked about a smog and he asked the year I told him. He said those take a long time to smog so it would be $98 . I said ok thx I'll pass.I left. Everyone else I talked to was $45 so my regular place which is awesome McHenry Smog was on vacation. I went here because last time they were nice sure would not recommend now. Sad.

Says online they close at 4pm. I went in to get a smog check and there were 4 guys working on cars still in the back. One comes to the front and just tells me "oh you have to call sometimes he left, no smog!" After I drove all the way down there! It clearly says online they are open until 4pm on Saturdays. And at the actual front door of the building it says they are open until 530pm! So they don't even honor the hours it says they are available. Bad business practices. Not a good look.

I went in to have my car smogged due to it was one of the few places open near my house. Before I even got to the door the fuy came out and flat out said is there engine modifications. I told him I had state legal Modifications with Carb sticker and plate on them. It has a 2.2L DOHC he put in the system that it was a 1.6L and it failed miserably. I have no idea how this happened since it was just smogged previously 4 months ago and passed no problem and then got parked. I honestly don't think this guy knew what he was doing. I honestly feel like I was robbed by this guy. Then I went back and told him that there might be a mistake when he entered the engine size and he was super rude and just dismissed me. Would never recommend this place to anyone I know. Would rather drive 3 hrs to get my

This is the only mechanic I trust to work on my Honda vehicles. The owner is prompt, courteous and always provides a fair price for the labor / parts. Great customer service and friendly staff!

The only place I get smog checks in the Valley. Honest, fair priced and usually little if any wait. Without hesitation I would refer them to everyone.
