My shop installed a motor from Jarco in a Toyota Land Cruiser, the motor was as described and shipped perfectly. After the install, my customer noticed he was using oil and adding a quart every 1,000 miles. We contacted James with our concern and without hesitation, told us that he was sending a tow truck to pick up the Land Cruiser for his shop to check out. He determined there was an issue with the rings, he then built another engine for the truck and installed it, all while repairing/replacing any other issues he came across. I called this company for a NEW ENGINE, then I was told that they don't deal with individuals and they only deal with dealerships. Paid a huge amount through the dealership (Marietta Toyota) that lied about the engine being new! They only warranty the motor for one year! I m already having issues after the first year. Barely even driven only 800 miles! NOTHING was done that I had requested AND the workmanship was the worst I have ever seen! I should have rebuilt myself!
