Jax Kar Wash - Lenox

First time visitor for a Jax and this location, tried it out, won’t return. Every business thinks we need a committed contract relationship… we don’t- one and done is fine. I have historically paid $7-12 for a car wash. Basic at $7-8 and premium $10-12. Now due to the (insert any excuse to raise prices) you pay $14-18 at a brand new facility that doesn’t clean the car. This location is in Lenox, MI surrounded by dirt roads yet cannot remove mud from side steps or bumper or hood. They also asked if I’d pay a tip “for the guys that dry that the vehicle.” I paid…. There are no “guys that dry the vehicle.” Businesses born today will not last unless the patrons continue to pay for garbage. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Got the $24 highest wash you can get, car was still dirty as you can see. Had to drive back when I figured this and it came out dirty again until I told the person to actually wipe it down and they just said "oh sometimes that happens it doesnt get everything". For $24 and a tip and they cant even clean it propwrly. I dont know why I even went because when I went a few weeks ago the car wash caused a dent in the back of my car (first picture).

They actually need to fire whomever designed this carwash entrance and exit. Car is always filthy after going through. New building and plenty of broken brushes. Had to edit it, employee pressed all of the buttons on the screen and opted me out of the fire shine thats included in my payments. Lovely.

So I Reactivated my membership that I previously cancelled because I wasn’t happy with the service at the Jax car wash location in chesterfield so when the new location in location on 26 mile rd in Lenox opened I figured I would give them another chance. When I pulled in someone came out to push the buttons at the kiosk (not sure if they think the customers are not capable) he asked me if i wanted to add a tip for the employees who are drying the cars. I said to him i wasn’t happy with the chesterfield location and that i just reactivated my account today so I’ll decide after the car is washed and dried..(wasn’t really impressed with this locations wash either) At the end of the wash there’s was no one drying any of the cars 🤔. Went there today for the first time. Had someone assisting us to purchase the car wash. She asked if we wanted to tip the employees who are toweling drying. I added a tip to my car wash. There was no one towel drying!! They scammed a tip from me. I tried calling to speak with a manager before posting a review. I had to talk to “Jill” a virtual assistant who did nothing, so now I am leaving this review. Beware if you add a tip, might not get the service you are tipping for!!
