This was the third shop that I came to for a check engine light. They did the diagnostic and informed me of issue and cost. Problem fixed, I'm extremely satisfied. Not only that, they gave me a list of truck inspection and potential issues and sequence of importance. I'm so happy with this shop, real pros. I have returned and started taking care of recommended repairs. Thank you Rick and mechanics.

SCAM. Charged For NOTHING. I was charged over $100 for a “diagnostic service” when zero diagnosis was conducted. It couldn’t have been because Rick reported to me that my check engine light turned off the entire time my car was there and nothing looked or sounded wrong when they turned my car on. They allegedly test drove it and nothing was wrong. Got my car back on Friday. It’s Sunday. ITS NOT TURNING ON. So what diagnostic service was performed that’s worth ~$130?? HORRIBLE business practices. HORRIBLE service. I cannot believe they have the rating they have when my issue was not remotely resolved and I was charged for it. I made an appointment to get my suspension worked on. Got there this morning and the guy said that my car is too old to put into the system and he can't work on it. It's a 71'. Then he gives recommendations to mechanic shops he's never worked with. I said the description when I made the appointment. He could've just said he didn't want to work on my truck. Oh well

I have used Jay's Automotive several times and have always been pleased. Understanding that the only time you need to use their services, it's for a not good reason. The shop always treated us with respect, gave us the straight answers and performed high quality work. This is a shop that I trust and I would recommend anyone to use them.
