Jay's Mobile Automotive Repair

I was looking to buy an older car and wanted to make sure I was not going to be scammed. I called several mobile mechanics and they either did not answer or were not availble for days. Jay's Mobile Auto repair was able to come same day and give an extremely thorough inspection of the vehicle. The mechanic was very professional, easy to talk to, and well prepared for inspecting the particular year, make, & model we were looking at. Jay's will be my first call in the future. I highly recommend their services. Best money I have ever spent for the services of a mechanic!!

Very knowledgeable and patient. When explaining things, he didn’t have a single ounce of condescension (as most tend to). He was very candid and trustworthy the whole time. I highly recommend him!

He charged me $800 to fix a module that he would redue work on if there was any problems. Problems occurred more and he went ghost on me. Took it to another mechanic who is better priced and have all equipment to do it was told that 3 modules were still down and corresponding bad which David/Jay should have seen when diagnosing. Becarful when dealing with this guy he’ll take your money and not fix your problem. I got charged $800 for jays ONE module and $1200 for 3 modules! Name of new mechanic is Johnathan who lives close to potranco for reference!

I live about eight miles of west of Floresville and there is no mobile mechanic service for this area (except for one that has really bad reviews). Found J's Automotive Repair from an online search and called them about coming to my home to see if they could get my car running. They had a mechanic, David, here about two hours after I called and he was able to get my car started. Although he didn't have the parts necessary to permanently fix the problem, he gave me the diagnostic codes from his computer analysis to be able to get the repairs done. Great service and I'll probably be calling them again some day!

Problem of car jerking for over a year. No one could find Problem. Jay did it in one visit. Great honest mechanic. I'm positive negative review was confused with another Jay's. He's my mechanic now. THANKS JAY !!
