Bought a R18A was told had 50-55k miles when delivered told had 60k was still fine with it Owner doesn’t seem to have much social skills with me was very short with questions asked, motor has gone 1k miles or so now and had to use my old water pump and solenoid which caused the Solenoid Gasket Spool Valve Filter to erupt causing minor oil leak I have to fix now, overall the engine is running but minor maintenance issues I feel should have been more clear. Again with communication was left un answered when asked about core charge after swap. Would I come here again maybe yea was a $900 engine that rebuilt would be over 3k so even with the parts to cover is about half the cost of rebuilt just wish more communication and more honesty.

I chose JDM Hotline because of the reviews they had online. Pricing was higher than other places but finding a honest used motor is hard. I Purchased a D17A and swapped into my civic, motor is SOLID. I installed new timing belt kit and I felt I was pulling apart a brand new engine. Coolant was still blue and clean, performed my own compression test and all above 180psi. I couldn’t be any happier with my purchase and highly recommend this company for a used motor purchase. Thanks guys!

Do not ever purchase a motor from here. More than likely it will be siezed, or look like it was shipped underneath the boat it came on instead of inside of it. Find a motor elsewhere, you're wasting your time. Also the owner will make up invalid reasons as to why the product was given to you in that condition with no basis for the argument.

Excellent customer service. I was able to choose my engine from several and they were all from what I could see in perfect condition. I bought a 1.8 engine for a 2000 Celica and it was like new internally and gets 30 plus MPG. Install went without issue. Highly recommend.
