Jiffy Lube

Took my well maintenanced and perfectly running car to Jiffy Lube in Merced Ca V Street. Left with an UNSAFE DRIVING vehicle that could’ve led to tragedy. Took my car in for an oil change Sunday July 6 2025, as a part of their “service” they took my air intake out to check the filter. I noticed the gentleman whom was attempting to back the intake, was forcefully smashing it back into its original position. I should’ve did an over look of the vehicle before driving off! But my car was APPROVED READY TO DRIVE BY 4 Employees! I was not notified of the situation that took place with my intake being ripped up. And drove my car to Modesto the next day. While on the freeway my car bogged out almost causing an accident. That’s when o pulled over and noticed this…. The tape on my intake was put on

Went to get oil change at one place with an appointment and had to wait way past my appointment so I drive to jiffy lube was in and out in no time at all. Great professional service.

This place have the most polite gentlemen. I've never been here and Michael was nice enough to explain what I needed to do and the social distancing procedures. He explained everything that would be fine to my vehicle for a oil change. I waited outside on the chairs provided.. Not to snazzy but what do you expect from a place that changes oil lol. At least they provided outside seating. Sergio called me in to go over the pricing and he was very thorough and explaining that my car is high mileage and that it needed fluids and he also let me know what fluids I did not need and they were honest about the parts I didn't need to have replaced. My total was about $92.00 but wanted my coolent topped off and I went for a couple extra on top of the high mileage I chose around $65.00. The inside was

* Deleted* *Repost* I took my car to Jiffy Lube in Merced Ca on V Street for an oil change and left with a UNSAFE DRIVING Vehicle!! My air intake was ripped in the processes of the worker putting it back to its original position. The car was APPROVED READY & Safe to Drive by multiple employees. I didn’t find out my air intake was ripped until the next day on the highway. My car bogged out and dropped MPH quickly causing cars behind me to slam on their brakes and go around. This could’ve easily caused a tragic accident and nobody would’ve even known that JIFFY Lube on V Street in Merced was responsible!! My last post got deleted here in Yelp about this incident. This is unacceptable and dramatizing to me.
