I towed my car to Jim's after it wouldn't start during some below freezing days in December. They called me stating that the spark plugs were good, the fuel pump was good, but there was no oil in the car. They asked if I wanted to pay additional diagnostic fees to check the compression. A few hours later they called to tell me there was no compression and that the engine needed to be replaced. I asked if it could be started just to drive it a block home and they told me there was no compression and it wasn't possible to get it started. When I told them I would have it towed they offered me $200 for it if I didn’t want to deal with towing it. We took it to another shop for a 2nd opinion and they called me within 2 minutes of leaving to let me know that the car started, but the oil was

Jim's Auto Body definitely deserves a 5-star rating, as they are some of the most honest people I know! I’ve brought my vehicle here for repair work, oil and filter change, tire rotation, and even had all four tires replaced. They’ve always offered great prices for both their services and products, and they’ve never overcharged or taken advantage of me. I used to go to a dealership that charged me two to three times more than Jim’s Auto Body, and I’m just so happy I found this place! I highly recommend them, especially if you want to feel confident that you're not being overcharged and want the friendliest people handling your vehicle!

This company operates in a predatory and unethical manner. We approved a $2,400 estimate they gave us for repairs on a truck, but turns out they were unable to complete the job. There were no disclaimers on the estimate form, and no prior discussion about charges for an incomplete job. At the last moment, they sent us a $500 invoice and refused to release the truck until it was paid in full. Just to be clear, the scrap value of the truck is $400. Highly disappointing, 10/10 do not recommend. Choose a mechanic who takes responsibility for their work and doesn’t charge you for their inability to complete a job they claimed they could handle.

Very kind and incredibly affordable! we were on a road trip and needed speedy repairs. Jim was able to fix it up and get us back on the road in no time. Highly recommend!
