I recently had a flat tire in Montclair, so I used my AAA membership to get a tow to Joe Guarino’s Automotive Shop. I couldn’t have been more pleased. They were competitive on pricing, replaced my tire that afternoon and offered exemplary customer service. 5 stars & more.

I’ve been coming to Joe Guarino Automotive in Garfield for years, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Joe always looks out for me and my family, making sure our vehicles are safe and well-maintained. His honesty, professionalism, and care are unmatched. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile. I’m truly grateful for Joe and his team, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy automotive shop.

This was the loveliest experience I’ve had at an auto shop. Ever. Everyone was SO KIND, warm, and accommodating. The service was so quick and smooth. I will go nowhere else if I can help it. 10 stars.

I need to tell the whole story so you can see why Joe and his team deserve this review. The Friday before Labor Day, I found wheel weights in my driveway and needed a quick fix before a holiday weekend trip. I stopped at Firestone for an alignment and to have the weights put back on. Shortly after dropping off my car, they called claiming my axle boot was “torn” and needed urgent replacement—FOR NEARLY $1,000—and claimed they couldn’t do the alignment because of it. I only expected to spend about $250, so I told them to forget the alignment and just put the weights on ("I guess I'm hitchhiking to the shore", I thought). When I picked my car up, they had magically done the alignment anyway (of course). This week I brought my car to Joe for a second opinion—where I should have gone first.

Brought my daughter’s car in for an oil change and met Joe and his team. Straight and honest quality work. My daughter and husband will be coming here for all their auto needs.Thank you, Joe. Tim
