I was working on the valve body of my 722.6 Mercedes transmission and broke the clip on the shift selector. This part was not available. Tony and the front desk helped me source a replacement valve body at another transmission shop. He made some calls and helped me out! He didn't charge for the free knowledge. I would take my vehicle here. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

I am new to the area and I needed an oil change. Such a difficult task when you have no idea where to start. Well, duh, Google. I search oil change and the fast lube places show up. Nothing against them but I’d rather not. I see Joe & Sons Transmissions and it’s close to my work. I call and ask if they offer oil changes. The person on the phone said yes but they are a bit busy. I explained that I work in walking distance and was looking to have it done today. She was super nice about it and said I could bring it over at 12. Let me first tell you that this repair shop is in a plaza with a few other shops so don’t be alarmed. Once I arrived, I was greeted by Cynthia who I had spoken with on the phone. She gave me a price, asked for my keys to get my vehicle info, told me it would be about 30

Do NOT bother going there. They do NOT care about prospective customers. Called and talked to Cynthia, asked for a price of a rebuild or possibly a remanufactured transmission for my car, she asked for my VIN number saying she'd call me back. 2 days later, no call. So I caller her back, she said she was still working on it and would call me back. 2 full days to get pricing? Ridiculous! It's been days now since I called and she never called me back. This is NO way to treat a potential customer. It tells me everything I need to know about what kind of people they are.
