John's Auto Body

Benak Auto Service in Western Springs sent me to John's for some body work that had to be done before my daughter drove the car to college in two days. I called and Eddie told me to come in right away. They did the work overnight and charged me next to nothing! John's knows how to run a competent, trustworthy business and I will absolutely go back with any future body work.

In the last 20 years, we have had repair work done here 4 times, on 3 different vehicles, with a great result every time.

Overall great experience. Eddie is fantastic to work with. Had three separate, unrelated repairs (replaced mirror, rear hatch dent, and corner bumper replacement). No insurance involved. Total repair bill was about the same as what three separate insurance deductibles would have been. A very fair price. The work was exceptional and finished within the timeframe estimated. I actually live out of state but travel to Chicago monthly. Eddie worked around my schedule and made it very easy for me when I came back to town. I was referred by our mechanic and others. They have a great reputation and it's well deserved!!

Part 2: 2025 After swiping a sign, I needed the whole right side of my CRV replaced along with tires. Again, Ed and his team did a fantastic job on my car. It looks and smells brand new! The repairs were done in a timely manner. While I am going to try not to make a repeat visit, I would go to Johns again should anything happen. Part I 2023: had to wait for several months for the parts to come in, but my car was drivable. When we finally took it in on Monday, the work was completed by Wednesday, including inside and outside cleaning of the car. My phone conversations with Ed were quick and respectful. I highly recommend John’s Auto Body shop.

I never post reviews but my experience with Eddie at John's Auto Body was so great that I have to sing his praises. I stopped in with an issue with my outside mirror. He checked it out, fixed it on the spot and would not accept any payment. He even went into the shop, came back out with a damp cloth, and cleaned the mirror and cover. His knowledge and his kindness were truly amazing. I cannot recommend highly enough John's Auto Body.
