Courteous and respectful staff. Fair pricing. I brought my vehicle in for a repair that was deemed necessary by the dealer. Upon inspecting the vehicle, the staff at John’s informed me that only half the repairs were necessary. Great service!

John and his staff are the absolute best! I had a tire emergency and they were so kind. They fit me in and got me all fixed and on my way. This easily my favorite John's location. I can make an appointment sooner here, and the staff is always very friendly and cheerful. They've taken great care of my car so far and work with me so I can wait there and be out on time. It's hard to find a mechanic these days where I haven't had any complaints.

Bought a truck last year and quickly found some major issues. John’s auto in Solvay helped me diagnose a blown head gasket… not a fun time.However, Bill at the solvay location helped me with every step. Bill explained all my options and walked me through everything. Even pricing out new engines and possible engine teardowns. Bill went completely above and beyond. After the engine was repaired, we found some wiring issues (not related to the engine work). I went to the shop in the North Syracuse/Mattydale area and worked with John. I would have returned to the solvay location, but I broke down closer to the other shop. This time I worked with John. They painfully went through the wiring in my truck.They found a small wire was getting wet in the rain and making the computer lose connection
