Jose's Transmissions

Jose provided top-notch service on my father's 07 GMC K1500, transmission overhaul. We drove it down from STG, Utah for the repair. He was very transparent with the whole process, providing videos as the rebuild took place. Well priced compared to other shops but the true value is in this man's integrity and honesty. Jose was quick to answer any questions we had, very thorough in his line of work. Highly recommend this place!

The transmission on my Civic went out requiring a complete overhaul. I got 4 different quotes from four different five-star reviewed transmission specialist shops and Jose's quoted me the best rate; although, the final amount I ended up paying was a bit more, putting it in line with the next best quote I received, but I'm not complaining, because I understood the reasons why and they made sense. Jose is communicative, friendly, and knowledgeable in his field and I can honestly say they did a great job on my civic. I only have one complaint, but it is a bit of a major one and that's their poor time management. I was originally quoted two weeks, but told it would probably be completed a little sooner than that, but to expect about two weeks to be on the safe side. After two weeks had elapsed

Sadly Our transmission went out on our Yukon and after research found this is pretty common. When I called for pricing Jose explained a common factory defect in our model and went over everything he would recommend replacing with a re build. Price was very competitive and he was able to get us in and out in under a week. Having kids and jobs this was so helpful to have a quick turn around. We also received video of the work and got to see all the medal that was released into the parts. Seeing what's being done really added to the experience and I would recommend him work! We got the car back and all is running smooth.

I highly recommend this shop !!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s so hard to find a good mechanic now a days someone who will be honest and upfront with you and actually do what you need done without your vehicle breaking down a week later, but Jose is the man !!!! He was honest upfront professional and knowledgeable . I own a mobile grooming company and the first month into my new business launching my transmission took a crap on me, I took my van to a shop close to home this was before I knew of Jose’s shop, I was quoted 4000$ and told it would take a week well week went but they still never fixed it and ordered the “wrong part”, I lost it, this is my business , my livelihood. From the first phone call I felt good about this shop.Everyone there seemed knowledgeable and I was allowed to discuss how I wanted my transmission rebuilt. In the end I received a better that stock with upgraded shift kit transmission. I just went up wheelers pass in Pahrump NV , the 4wd was amazing. Best of all its a family owned business so , if you find yourself in need call these guys the tow was free.
