Tonight I was driving and my car was over heating and I was panicking . One shop told me my thermostat was bad. But they couldn't fix it tell the morning. I needed to be home to my kids. Me and my wife called around J.R's auto answered I explain my situation. At mid night John from j.rs was able to let me in and work on my car. I told him my thermostat is shot. Needs replaced. He asked me a bunch of questions and says that doesn't sound like your thermostat it sounds like a air pocket. He went through and fed me some food. Hour later he said your good man. I've been driving for several hours and my car runs great. He vacummed my car out and fixed my fuses and I didn't ask. He was amazing. His experience to my car was amazing. I'm not from here. Doc and his crew were my Christmas miracle. I was traveling on a long road trip and about 1/2 way through my car ran out of oil due to an oil pump leak. I was so lucky to find Doc's garage. They spent the day finding parts and even making a custom gasket in order to get me back on the road in time to make my Christmas travel plans. What could have easily ruined my Christmas turned into a highlight of my trip when they fixed my car, and even added on a needed timing belt, saving me hundreds in the long run. I felt like my car was being fixed in Santa's workshop. They charged a very reasonable, almost generous price. I couldn't have asked for better luck. I was always skeptical about getting my truck serviced, but after my first visit to JR's Automotive Service I was sold. Because I have a late model vehicle, most of the pricing I've been quoted at other auto shops has been...ridiculous. (The kind of ridiculous where I've wished I had a spare kidney to sell just to cover a portion of what they said I needed.) At JR's though? I've never had that feeling of hysteria when they quote a job. How many repair shops can actually put you at ease because you know your vehicle is in good hands? VERY UNPROFESSIONAL..... Terrible customer service and business practices. Not honest or trustworthy. Had our car for over 3 months. Never answers the phone when we call for status updates. The owner came highly recommended and his reviews were great. His employee apologized on his behalf due to marital issues and advised that he was known for providing excellent work in the past. He indicated that he was screwing up his repuatation lately. Too bad we didn't get the experience what we heard so much about. My husband, went to the shop, paid for the work he did complete and the owner guaranteed that he would complete the work he originally stated he would complete and apologized for his lack in communication. My wife brought our family car here to find out that our car needed a ton of work... (Not just because the mechanic said so). The mechanic showed my wife all the problems and bad parts. After that the office guy wrote my wife an estimate for the work .. and even said which parts where the worst. We sat down that night and decided which ones to fix in what order.. she went back told the office guy what we wanted and they arranged all the work to be done . . I can not stress how painless this was ... I am very satisfied with the work done and now my wife goes up there for regular oil changes. So I guess you can say we are very happy customers!!!
