Jr's Quality Transmissions

I previously left a higher review I would revise it but I don't have access to that account at the moment. They quoted me $1000 high at first until I said I would bring it to another shop. After getting the truck back which was supposed to have a fully rebuilt transmission it shifted worse than before I sent it in. Called and they said to give it a few hundred miles. Around 800 miles after rebuild truck left me stranded in limp mode on the way out of town for work. Brought it to a shop and it's the input speed sensor that's bad. Now I'm faced with no telling what damage it's been doing and more repair cost since they failed to do their original job. I would NOT trust them further than I could throw them. Bring your vehicle somewhere else.

I have written this 2 days before my truck will be ready, but I know how to edit my review...however I also have full faith in all my statements and I wont have to change a thing...they addressed an issue promptly without having to address it myself, have held up to their word, and I feel my truck is in the best hands possible as far as transmissions. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, reputable, not keep your shit forever and screw with you shop...make the phone call and you wont be disappointed.

Used Jr”s Quality Transmission to help diagnose and repair a problem that could’ve caused me many thousands of dollars. Junior, the owner was immediately gracious and informative, explained everything to me about what my problem probably was before he even knew who I was. Simply, if you have a transmission issue, there is no other place to go. The problem ended up costing me much less than I thought it would. Trust is a major issue when you visit a new mechanic. I knew I could trust Jr. and his service the first moment I met him. And the repair only took a few days, which was absolutely amazing.

This review is not a rebuke of the owner, who was very gracious and helpful, but his desk employee who is the rudest person I’ve ever had to deal with when it comes to vehicular service, especially when I was referred to this shop by another mechanic. I had to walk into the shop to ask this employee to speak to Junior… the owner of the business… a second time in order to get my vehicle scheduled for repair after she didn’t even bother to relay my three-week old phone message to him about my vehicle that I had previously dropped in to him four weeks prior to inspect. Junior knew who I was, and he was awaiting for me to actually speak back with him directly. The return phone call was less than five days after I spoke to him face-to-face the first time. I brought my car in for a transmission fluid flush yesterday afternoon and got it back this morning. Very prompt service at a reasonable price. The fact that my brother knows the owner makes it a much pleasant experience.
