KAMS Auto Service Center

My truck broke down on the road, and the closest shop was KAMS Auto Service Center. Before heading there, I checked their Google reviews and saw how many people spoke highly of them, so I decided to trust them. I arrived a day before Thanksgiving. The team told me honestly that they wouldn’t be able to start the repair until after the holiday. I ended up needing to call a tow truck to Chicago, but what truly impressed me was their kindness: they allowed me to stay on their parking lot for three days, completely free of charge, while I waited for the tow truck. I was always taught you get what you pay for, I say that because KAMS in not the cheapest option in the area for car repairs but they are not overpriced either. Theyre prices are fair but the customer service is EXCELLENT, they are quick to respond and contacted me next day on what the issue was with my vehicle and were through answering questions. The work they perform on vehicles is EXCELLENT as well. They get it right the 1st time and they DONT push unnecessary work to jack up the bill. They trated my solstice GXP with care and fixed a issue multiple other repair shops missed or couldn't find. They have a lifetime customer in me and I will be referring them to friends and family.

The staff at KAMS is excellent ! The work was done in 1 day. We brought the truck back the next day to have them check something out and they immediately took the truck to put it up on the lift . They checked it out and explained what had happened to the truck, it had nothing to do with the repair. I really appreciated them taking their time to look at the vehicle for us. It’s so nice when you feel important to a business. Thank you KAMS !

I have been here multiple times and have had multiple good experiences with them. However, with 2 vehicles I have brought to them, I wish I could say the same. The first one being my 99 f250, they did the injector work on it and have been chasing down issues ever since. They stood by their work and warrentied half the injectors when there were issues. Unfortunately i was never told half were warranty replaced and was only written up and told 1 was done. Mind you I don't fully blame them on this job, with how it's almost a 30 year old truck and Fords parts haven't been the best lately. The other job was on a 2015 jeep, the oil filter housing was leaking oil badly. I took it to them and job was done, but however it still leaked afterwards. The staff here was extremely helpful and welcoming to my wife and I. My truck broke down early Friday morning leaving me stranded with a new baby. They quickly got my truck back on the road and for a very reasonable price. Definitely found a new forever place for our vehicles. THANK YOU KAMS STAFF!
