Kar-Tunes and Custom Paints

I took my car to be done as a widebody and I know the work takes a long time. Emily and Mark took care of all the work and did a good job, the paint and the way they put the widebody together was perfect. There are some small details that were difficult to fix, but it's not a problem for them because they do a good job and take their time very seriously.

Buyer Beware – Untrustworthy and Unethical I trusted Kar-Tunes with my ’98 Jeep Wrangler, expecting professional restoration, and mechanical work, and relied on their assurance that the vehicle was safe to drive. However, a second professional inspection, necessitated by the check engine light being on almost immediately after picking the vehicle up from Kar-Tunes, revealed serious issues. That inspection uncovered multiple items charged for were either done improperly or not completed, including safety-critical components such as rusted structural areas (i.e., a completely rusted out rear-end and sway bar). I have nothing but positive things to say about Kar Tunes. The entire staff is very friendly and professional. I was lucky enough to stumble upon Kar Tunes while dropping a relative at a nearby mechanic shop and noticed there were antique cars parked. All the other shops were closed, and I saw two gentlemen working on a vehicle. I decided to approach them and spoke with Mark and Jason. I showed them a video of an issue I was having with my 1952 Ford Crestline Victoria, and Mark knew precisely what the problem was and how to fix it. They took my car the same day, and by the next day, they had it up and running. They also addressed other issues I was having with my vehicle and finished the job promptly.
