Had a great experience at Kar Tek for a muffler that had become disconnected and needed a new pipe piece. Repair was quick at a great price. These guys were recommended by three other shops in the area that did not handle muffler repairs, and I could tell they knew what they were doing. Very nice people too!

Can't recommend this place enough. I brought in a completely rusted-out truck, and they took me through everything that needed to be replaced at a fair price. John has been great to work with, and the team in the shop is very good at what they do. Eddie was also very helpful.

Kartek is the best auto mechanic shop in town. Eddie and John always treat you well and fairly. I have been going there for at least 10 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I can’t recommend Kartek Mufflers enough. These guys were highly recommended by car nerd friends of mine—and now I know why. My RAV4 Hybrid used to sound like a jet engine. Literally. When I bought it from CarMax, the muffler had been modified (probably to make sure people could hear it coming since it’s a hybrid), but the result was obnoxiously loud. For years, I could hear my wife coming from blocks away. Not in a good way. Finally, I brought it to Kartek, and Eddie was awesome. Not only did he fix the muffler perfectly, but he also took care of some side trim that was loose on the passenger side—totally above and beyond. He’s calm, friendly, super knowledgeable, and most importantly in a city like LA, honest. I never felt like I was being upsold or taken for a ride. The car finally so
