I've been going to Kasten Automotive for over 20 years for my vehicle maintenance and repairs. I just did my oil change, all filters changed, had issues with my socks and struts, some breaks issues, wipers, fluids and more. Mark and his team of certified mechanics are very professional, knowledgeable, polite, problem solving folks, that know what they're doing. They always fixed my cars well, they treated me also well, despite the fact that some folks like to complain, just keep in mind that some parts are way expensive than it was 5 or 10 years ago, also the labor is high, for the fact that the state and municipality taxes these businesses insanely, hence the consumer picks up the bill, also some key parts for a lot of makes and models, believe it or not are still fabricated off-s

Highly recommend if you are looking for the best service and the best price! I stopped here when everyone else was closing down for the night after Walmart Auto Center completely messed up my car when switching my tires. Kasten Automotive was so kind to me from the minute I was on the phone with them to when I picked my car up from them. I have no idea what I would have done without them! They kept me in the loop throughout the whole process of the car being in their possession which I really appreciated. They have incredible pricing, top notch service, and quality workmanship. Mark at Kasten auto did a great job on my car. I had to get the brakes replaced and he was able to get me in the same day even though I could see that he was busy right after the holiday. He did a good job communicating what was wrong and I was very happy with the price. They do great work here.

First off, Mark diagnosed my girlfriend's Nissan free of charge a couple of weeks back. After looking at it, he notified us immediately about the issue, an issue we could not pinpoint. He told us her car had known transmission issues, and that there was a recall so the dealership should take care of it for free (Something we didn't know). He didn't have to do any of that, and could've charged us for his time. I was extremely grateful, because we followed his guidance, and her car now has a brand new transmission from Nissan. I offered to pay him, and he declined. He genuinely wanted to make sure her car was safe to drive, and he understood our frustration. Called the owener up explained to him what had happened at a prior shop told him I had to have it towed there. He said he was leaving for the day & to leave the keys in the drop box. Two weeks later he never looked at my car just sat at his shop getting nothing done. Now if he had said before I paid to get it towed to him he wouldn't be able to look at it, I Definitely wouldn't have wasted money taking my car to him. Then he had the audacity to get a attitude when my son & myself came up there. Even took his hat off like he wanted to fight my son. When my son told him he was a horrible business man for giving his mom the run around. Mind you he had my car for two weeks with nothing being done. 1out of 10 he would get a - 5 from me. But I'm happy to know ither people had a better experience
