Gil Harris, Dana, and the team at Katy Auto have earned all 5 stars. Over the last 10+ years we have brought all of our vehicles here. In that time they have serviced my car, my wife's car, and finally our kids' cars. Once I mad the mistake of taking my wife's minivan to the dealer. Never again! An $8000 estimate to repair what MIGHT be wrong? I left and immediately went to Katy Auto. The problem was identified the same day and the drive out repair cost was $900. What business does that anymore? KATY AUTO DOES. Are they perfect? No one is. But they don't blame their customers if something goes wrong. They fix it! Thank you Gil. Thank you Dana. I highly recommend Katy Auto care for any service/maintenance your car needs! My dad has been a long-time customer of Katy Auto Care and has always trusted them. After my first visit, I completely understand why. They were very accommodating and got my car in right away even though they were very busy. They also took the time to bring me out to the car and show me exactly what was going on, which really helped me understand the issue rather than just being told about it. I had a great experience at Katy Auto Care. My car had a few issues including a loose-feeling steering wheel, uneven handling, and an overdue oil change. Gil, the owner, was incredibly helpful and made sure everything got properly diagnosed and taken care of. The car drives so much better now. What makes this place stand out is not just the quality of service, but the people. Gil is not only a knowledgeable and honest mechanic, he also trains jiujitsu at Revolution Dojo and is a brown belt, which speaks volumes about his discipline, patience, and character. It’s rare to find someone you can fully trust with your car, but I absolutely do here.
