Kempsville Auto Care Center

Kempsville Auto Care Center was great. I took my primary business truck in for a state inspection, and although they were swamped busy with other customers, they were able to inspect it the next day. They found that the rear brakes and rotors needed replacement, and according to the invoice, the parts cost more than the labor. I couldn't believe it. I'm very used to exhorbant dealer rates but when you look at the final labor cost it was extremely reasonable. Also, not only the price, but those who assisted me every step of the way were wonderful. I will likely be taking the rest of my 5 cars here anytime they need work that I would prefer not to do, or state inspections. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had my state inspection done and brake pads replaced at Kempsville Auto Care, and once again they did a great job. The staff is always friendly, professional, and super helpful, which makes the whole experience easy and stress-free. My only feedback is that there is a fee when paying with a debit or credit card, and that wasn’t disclosed ahead of time. I’m not upset about it—it just would’ve been nice to know in advance. Overall, I’ve consistently had good experiences here and would absolutely recommend Kempsville Auto Care for honest, reliable service.

I do not recommend this shop. While customer service was nice as she could be, the laborers seem to do thorough work and do not check to make sure everything is in good working condition before returning to the customer. I took my car in to have the AC checked/charged. I picked my car up and it was cooling but then 2 days later it stopped. I took it back in and then they said they found a leak which supposedly they checked for on the first visit, so they charged me twice, even though I feel like they should have included that first charge in the work they had to do the second time. Since they had to take the whole front dash off to get to the part of the AC, it was very expensive which was understandable. Not a trustworthy business. They will have you return many times, overcharge you for continued "diagnostic" tests for the same problem, and not take responsibility for damaging your vehicle while "trying" to repair the original problem - and instead, create a new one! I took two vehicles to this company, and they were disappointingly unprofessional. Vehicles were not repaired, but I still paid exorbitant fees. They gave run-around answers with gibberish talk. BEWARE.

I went here to get my state inspection done on a brand new car 2024 Nissan sentra and they still failed inspection on the vehicle. Priceless. Nevertheless, I went to another service station and it pass, and there was no issues go figure. I will never be going here again.
