The folks at Ken’s deserve an award or something. I had been having trouble with my 2005 Toyota Prius, and after a very cursory inspection by my usual mechanic, I was given an estimate north of a grand for replacing the water pump and related parts. I don’t know if this is actually the case, but I got the distinct impression my trusty mechanic was telling me in dollar signs that they didn’t want to deal with whatever issue my car was having. It’s difficult to find mechanics who are willing to work on hybrids it seems. So I started a search for a new place to take my ailing car. I encountered a usual incident with my truck back at the end of January. Christina was such a great support she went above and beyond, the adjusters at my insurance carrier (PROGRESSIVE) FYI don’t carry this insurance, they could be great when it comes to cc but my experience was one of the most difficult ones and if you don’t follow through with their decisions…they will punish you. I have been a client at this shop for several years always taken care of my truck but this time was different with a freak accident while the insurance company stalled everything, Christina was there holding my hand. They were able to get me in same day after my car was suddenly undriveable. In addition they were honest with me and told me it was only a cheap part that needed to be replaced. I know if they wanted to they could have told me it was the very expensive fix I assumed it needed and I would never have known differently. I think other car places would have lied to me to take my money but they didnt and I am so grateful for that. I wish I had found them sooner. I highly recommend this place. Will be using them from now on for all my auto repair needs.

Christina and the crew at Ken's Auto repair saved me THOUSANDS! Larry Miller Toyota told me they needed to remove my dashboard to replace blend doors to fix my AC problem. They quoted me $4800. I was devastated!!! A friend told me about Ken's Auto repair, I asked them for a second opinion. They fixed the problem that afternoon and it didn't require removing my dashboard or paying thousands. My only regret was not coming sooner. I spent this pass summer with crappy AC because I didn't want my dashboard removed and to become broke.
