Kiosk Illinois Emission Test - Air Team

I can only say WOW, this is so convenient for ppl who live in the city for the emission test. If you know where your car VIN barcode is and the computer plug location. The whole test process is only 2 minutes no kidding. I was here at a weekday lunch time and no waiting. There’s only one kiosk tho.

This kiosk works well. The instructions are clear, touch screen's user friendly and the process is quick. Shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes. If you need an emissions test, this is the place.

This is so convenient and easy to use! 1. Either use the scanner or manually type in your vehicle VIN 2. Enter current mileage 3. Plug in the diagnostic cable into your running vehicle while parked 4. Test runs and asks if you want a printed reported or online. 5. Quick survey then done.

I had a hard time believing the other reviews, but was suprised how fast and simple this kiosk was to use. It really was easy as 3 steps. I would recommend knowing where your vehicle VIN barcode and car computer test plug is prior to your visit; even though the picture instructions on the kiosk show you, mine was in a slightly different place. Despite this, entire process took about 5 minutes (minus waiting for the car before me, who also only took about 5 min). Highly recommend!

I highly recommend that you continue going to the testing center. Because there's a scanner to read the vin number (no problem) but when it comes to the part where you have to locate whatever it is that you have to plug into if you don't know where it is you're going to be all day trying to locate it. Thank goodness it was a man who knew all this and helped me out (no he was not asking for money). Great location so you can get your renewal right there.
