Drove from Gastonia NC to look into a truck. Husband checked it out and test drove it. Upon return, I informed him it was running hot and heard a ticking sound. Marcus was honest that it was salvage title and offered to show pics of damage from being rear-ended although we didn't see them. I'm giving 1 star because something was definitely wrong and I felt this was not disclosed. I am a mechanics daughter and cannot be olayed. Know this. Communication with Marcus was excellent, however and he waited after hours for our arrival due to traffic. They fix apt of trucks there.....good community resource. Just be educated.

I bought a Toyota Tundra from Kissel Automotive. Felt like I got a good deal and have been super happy with the truck. Everything went smooth during our transaction. Nc dmv was a little slow doing the salvage inspection since it was out of state. That’s no fault of Theirs. I would highly recommend.

I’d recommend depending on the collision it was in prior to purchase, removing the front bumper. We had the vehicle inspected at Firestone prior to purchase, and they were pretty thorough. They noticed some small things not repaired from the collision such as a broken exhaust hanger. After purchasing the car we noticed after a while the AC wasn’t working. We tried a can to recharge it to see if maybe the refrigerant was low, and that lasted about two days. We took it to a mechanic friend of ours and after removing the bumper we found that the condenser was still completely smashed from whatever collision it was in prior, and one of the radiator mounts was completely broken off / missing.
