I brought my vehicle to Knipples Garage for a brake job that should have been routine. Instead, it turned into a dangerous mechanical failure that nearly cost me my life and caused thousands of dollars in damage. After the brake work was completed, the lug nuts were not properly secured. The very next day, while driving on the turnpike, the brake caliper came off and lodged into the wheel, instantly seizing the tire. This caused a catastrophic chain reaction that sent a rod through the transfer case, disabled the vehicle, and left me stranded in a life-threatening situation. I been to places like Firestone, Monro Muffler, and the KIA dealership and I had bad experiences with each of them. This place has a good team and really good customer service. Jason does a great job explaining and educating the customer about what’s being done. Which non of the mechanics I dealt with in the past did.
