My entire experience with Kunes was great. Excellent communication when I reached out to them before driving from Bettendorf. Jullian greeted me when I arrived and was very attentive to what I was wanting. Dry knowledgeable and helped make everything happen. All the staff I worked with made the experience comfortable and fair. Ultimately, we made a deal on my trade-in and I was able to drive home in my new vehicle. I would definitely recommend buying from Kunes Ford of Sterling. This is the second vehicle we have purchased from a Kunes dealership and both experiences have been fantastic.

I had a very negative experience attempting to purchase a vehicle from Kunes Ford in Sterling, Illinois, and based on my experience I would not recommend this dealership. I contacted Kunes Ford about a 2024 Subaru Forester Wilderness that was advertised online at a specific price. During negotiations, the dealership provided an electronic bill of sale that included the advertised price, but also added $2,995 for CermaPlate (graphene-infused coating) product that was not disclosed in the advertisement, was not discussed in advance, and was never agreed to. When I questioned this undisclosed charge, the dealership did not remove it but instead attempted to reduce the amount. Only after I raised concerns about price disclosures was the add‑on removed.
