Had a pretty concerning experience here on Tuesday. I came in for a simple tire repair on a small puncture -- the shop inspected the tire and offered two patch options. I went with the one they recommended because they said it would be a long-term solution. Four days later (on Saturday), while driving on the freeway, the tire had a full catastrophic blowout and completely shredded. I was lucky I was on the far right lane to be able to pull over as a freeway blowout is no small thing. I called the shop to let them know what happened, and instead of any concern or willingness to look into it, I was told patches have "no warranty" and that they don't give refunds. The tone was dismissive, and I was told "come on man, listen to what you're saying," which was surprising given the safety aspec

Cheerful, helpful, competent and honest people working here at this shop. Great service. Brian helped me. I took my car to another tire shop, and they couldn’t determine what was causing my tire to lose air, but L.A. Tires immediately found the problem. They’re going to help me get it fixed this Friday. This is a solid shop with honest, reasonable prices. They’ll try to save you money and will give you the best repair options available.

I’m sure their work is good, but they quoted me almost double what other tire shops in the area charge for a tire patch. You’re really paying for the convenience if you’re in a pinch, but if you can shop around, you’ll probably save some money.
