Lacey's Auto & Truck Repair

I have gotten my vehicle serviced, inspected & emissions done annually for the past 3 years at Lacey's. They were able to fix my car with a $40 part for it to pass inspection after taking my vehicle to many many other places wanting over $1500 to fix it. I couldn't afford being ripped off by the endless auto shops I went to before Lacey's. When I explained my plight, they put a tester on it and he was able to fix my vehicle for regular price plus $40 and it passes every year since. They are a great, honest business who takes pride in the service they provide. I recommend them to everyone I know. Thanks! Heather Smith

Laceys is a small shop, but seems to offer many services at reasonable prices. I only went there for a state inspection, which was completed in about 30 mins. Alice & Joe are friendly & outgoing, so that is nice too. If you're looking for a big, flashy service facility like a dealership has, then you should go to a dealership...because this ain't one of them, but that's ok, since the work gets done quickly and efficiently.

After getting the run around about bolts twice for the lower control arm, I finally got it ready to be aligned by them. The alignment wasn't off by a whole lot but after taking it here, my truck yanks me to the right and I ran through front tires in less than a week (no exaggeration there) The alignment is so bad now another repair shop wouldn't even touch it. I was charged $90 to have my truck in way worse shape than when I brought it in. WOULD NOT GO HERE FOR ALIGNMENTS!

I have taken my car to Lacey's 3 times and have not been disappointed once. They listen to my concerns and check everything I ask them too and never make me feel like my opinions on my own vehicle are invalid. They never make me feel pressure to do a service or buy a product. They do however recommend useful services. I have never had an unnecessarily long wait time and they schedule me quickly to be seen. All the employees are respectful and professional.

Absolutely would not recommend this place. I went here for an alignment and they told me I needed new struts, so I made an appointment a month later to get struts and the alignment. They put the struts on, then told me I would need to spend almost $400 more dollars for ball joints in order to get it aligned. I asked why this wasn't mentioned at my previous appointment and he told me that rust had accumulated (apparently over the past month?). It's an older car and i would've just looked to get a new one had i known it would cost me north of $1k for this. The most telling part of the whole ordeal was that I would be charged more if I made a future appointment as opposed to getting everything done that day. Typical nonsense you see from slimy mechanics who only care about money.
