Lafayette

The apartments are beautiful. We have weekly housekeeping and they do a good job. The residents are warm and friendly as well as the staff, many of whom have worked here for a long time.. As you can see from the photos we are surrounded by a wooded area, lovely in all seasons and the location is ideal: you feel like you are in a quiet, country setting but you arei still in Northeast Philadelphia. Holy Redeemer has a great service where the concierges will bring a wheelchair to your apartment if you are not up to walking to an activity or a meal . The food is acceptable, but not fantastic; however, they have hired a new director of dining services and he is listening to our suggestions. I would highly recommend Holy Redeemer Lafayette if you want a long term care facility in a safe

The Kitchen staff is the best!! But the servers that serve the patients in the dining room need to grow up.. There child like behavior is gross..I definitely wouldn’t wanna work with none of them. They are the reason I’m leaving 2 stars. I get a chance to survey many nursing homes.. Lion Gate in Vorhees is definitely the best. There workers don’t hate on temporary workers.. & Try & wait for them to have 1 bad day out of 100 to bash them…I really don’t like to leave bad reviews on none of my different pages .. But when you come after the KING you best not miss..

I was in for REHAB for 3 weeks. The staff was helpful from nurses and aids, to PT and OT. The was great0 i loved the variety in soups and entrees, and for me for the most part it was very filling. So compliments to the chef. The kitchen staff was limited to the FRIENDSGIVING meal in the main dining room. They were very attentive and pleasant.

My mom has been at the Lafayette since January 2024. The place is amazing. She has a beautiful appt., all the staff has been friendly and polite. She has many new friends and is always busy participating with such things as a book club, bingo, other games, crafts etc... Everyone I have encountered has been wonderful!! I highly recommend this place!
