Unsafe Vehicle Sold, Now Undrivable - 1 star review I purchased a 2006 GMC Canyon from LaFontaine on November 20, 2025 for over $12,000. I understood it was sold "as is" and I accepted that risk. What I did not expect was a vehicle with serious structural damage that makes it unsafe to drive. When I brought the truck to my mechanic because the brake light was on, he discovered that the frame has rusted through and one of the rear leaf spring mounts has failed. This is not normal wear and tear. This is a structural safety issue that would have been visible with a basic inspection before the sale. I contacted the dealership right away.
