Wife and I are new to the area. Talked to Jerry Friday about pads and rotors front and rear. Jerry gave me a fantastic price quote. Brought the 2019 GMC SIERRA AT4 today for the work. Jerry called and told me the front pads and rotors are fine, no need to replace. That is great, HONEST workmanship. Lakewood Automotive has a new customer for life!

Got halfway into a $1250 timing chain job. They saw it had just been done, and I didn’t need to do that work. I offered to pay for the labor to put it back together but Jerry saved me $1,000 and he could have just re-done the work and charged me and agreed upon price. Proud to have them in my neighborhood - they are a good kind of people. I appreciate them.

Used to like taking my vehicles here, but lately they've really been dropping the ball for me. Really starting to seem like they don't want to tackle anything remotely difficult, and they've also been really bad about calling me to say what the problem is and ask if I want to move forward with a fix. Will not be going back to this mechanic.
