Louie and Alfredo were the best! I called Louie on a Friday evening, explaining what was happening and he nailed it and had me bring it into the shop the following week. I dropped it off in the morning and got a follow-up call shortly after with the diagnosis and the repairs that needed to be completed. It's hard to find a good mechanic that knows transmissions and will tell you straight what needs to be replaced/repaired. 10/10 would recommend this shop to anyone. Louie is great and to the point. Not to mention the best shop dog!

So…. I had my truck built a few years back. The last year or so I’ve been having random transmission problems. Many people told me “go see Louie at Vegas Trans”. I finally called and he was busy so I made a mistake and went elsewhere to get a hack job done. Pretty sure my yoke is still wrong but at least now I’m seeing Louie a year later and getting my trans the proper treatment. Long story short. Don’t go elsewhere to get jobs done quicker. Be patient and get your stuff done right here with Louie and his team. I’m coming back in a few weeks to get this whole thing done right and possibly just a new trans all together. In the meantime they got me back on the road… Word of mouth still RULES!

I bought a used truck with a trashed transmission. Louie rebuilt the tranny and also took care of a lot of the extra stuff that I was going to put off for a great deal. So we got it done as well. Any issues that arise since the yranny (which happen with a 23 year old truck) he's quick with an !nswer and doesn't sell a bunch of crap i don't really need just to get paid. Honest mechanic, high quality work, only bringing my truck here.
