Laurel Tire Shop

I was stranded with 2 flat tires. Laurel tires helped get me 4 new tires at a very nice price. This is a solid place for quality used tires, quick flat repairs, and new tires as well, but definitely not a high end specialty shop. I appreciated how they stand behind their work, got me back on the road fast, and I really like my new tires.

I used them a few months ago and they had nice customer service so I went back to today instead of going rigjt downnthe street on clark road. Had 2 tires mounted today on my truck. They mounted one backwards so I had to wait a little longer no big deal but when they were done my rim had scratches around the 5 spoke part by the lug nuts. I showed them the situation and the owner had one of his guys rub a cleaner over it and it made it look better but the damage is there and pretty bad not sure what happened. My edges of my rims have the clear coat coming off now so they are not new or rims that were in good shape thankfully. The was the part that still looked good on all the rims though. I am glad there were not new rims as the owner just said sorry so If they were new I would be out o

We brought our Acura Mdx there to get tire rotation/balancing/1 patch repair. I will NEVER bring any of my vehicles to this shop AGAIN! 1. Tires were set to 49 psi. 2. They used beads instead of the weight strip to balance my wheels (Unbelievable!) 3. I'm not even sure if the patch/tire rotation/torque were even perform correctly at this point. I always try to support local small businesses but this is a pass for me!

Like everyone else, I hate having tire issues, but when I do I come to laurel tires. These people know what they are doing versus a lot of the chains. I had some issues with brand new tires. They were installed at Firestone, and I didn't even go back for the warranty. I ended up coming to these guys to address the issue. I have a fellow co-worker that pulls a trailer and whenever he has debris. In his tires, he always comes to them to make sure they get fixed right with the patch from the inside.

For 7 years I experienced immaculate service, professionalism, courtesy, and superior work on more than 12 occasions. In recent days however, this business is seemingly under new management. In the last 3 attempts, they’re either closing early, unavailable, or simply ignore the person waiting patiently by his vehicle with a flat. Never again. Tires Plus is highly recommended.
