LAXpress Van Rental

Polite service, pleasant staff, we received an SUV in good condition. The company literally saved us from a near holiday disaster as the rental company we used failed to provide us a car when we arrived at LAX. LAXpress team came to collect us, and they also dropped us off back at the airport when we returned the car - it was really appreciated by my children. The hire price was higher than I expected, but it was on the spot hire rather than prepaid. If there is one point to suggest - the drop-off process could be easier with easier entry procedure to the courtyard (for non US residents, it was slightly confusing, and we needed to do a detour).

We rented from this place very last minute as we had issues with our original booking from a different company. Price was double the price, we were okay to eat this cost as it was very late, however, we were rented a broken vehicle. Windshield washer spray was not working which I believe part of the vehicle safety. They tried to fix it but couldn’t so they just promised us to give us discount upon return. Mind you, there were atleast 20 other vans in the lot at the time so they could have just given us a different van. Upon return, they still charged us full price without the promised discount, it was okay but I asked if they can just drop off at the airport instead to compensate this as we had children with us and a bunch of luggages. Very nice people!!! Totally helped me out in a time of need with a clean, nice car. Prices were a little higher than other places but very reasonable given the circumstances- and didn’t jump any surprises on me.

Thanks for saving our trip!!!! We arrived at LAX in the evening and got rejected by AVIS since I didn't have a credit card. We stood without any car, but LAXpress saved us! We got picked up at AVIS and driven to the office, where a very nice guy had a car ready for us! And the day after, we had some issues with the car, so we called the office and we got a new car without any problems. The drop-off took like 5 minutes, I got all the deposit back, and we got a ride to the airport shuttle. The only minus is the relatively high deductible with the included insurance of 1000$, but as long as you take care of the car, it shouldn’t be a problem. A very nice experience and exceptional customer service, and I really recommend using this company!

THE INSURANCE IS THIS PLACE IS FAKE! They just stole $1000 from us!! Be careful - they‘re cheaper because they’re insurance is fake!!! The woman is super aggressive and refused to take us to the airport and we lost our flight!!! Careful!!! This place is not serious!! When you deliver your car they try to find the smallest thing to take $1000 from you!!! That’s why they’re cheaper… their business is stealing!
