Lenawee Transmission

We had a situation everyone dreads… there’s probably only one worse thing than it being “the transmission”. We are new to the area and found Lenawee Transmission via google. We went in blind not by referral and hoped for the best. We were faced with an extenuating circumstance due to the age of our truck and limited finances available to it but I love this truck and wasn’t about to make it a lawn ornament. Thanks to the amazing, patient, trustworthy Derek we have the ole girl back on the road! Despite our obstacles Derek put in the time and the effort to be sure we got this repair done and done right!! They have had my car since before Christmas and just got around to “working” on it. They took my car knowing they don’t work on this type of car but the owners wife said he was a “pushover “ so he took the car anyway. You can either fix it or you can’t or won’t, and it would have been nice to know that upfront . I paid over $500 for him to completely disassemble my car , not fix the problem, and not put it back together. Mind you, we brought the car to them with the problem already identified. Just needed someone to fix it! They made us shop for a transmission lol! A transmission place! Now they are giving us hell about towing it because it’s in pieces. Derrick and staff are very friendly and competent. This is one of those small business's that make America what it is. I trust them completely! And while my experience was pleasant, I do hope to not have any other cars have transmission trouble, but if they do I will only use Lenawee Transmissions in Adrian!

Wonderful experience with Lenawee Transmission. They installed a centerforce clutch in my husbands 2013 Jeep Wrangler. They worked quick and communicated through the whole process.
