Outstanding experience! After a long drive back to KY my car started making an extremely loud noise. All signs were pointing towards my transmission. I had heard good things about Lexington Transmission and I’m so glad that I did! I called Monday morning and not only did Ted talk me through what the thought was wrong, he also told me about a towing company that they work with (win win)! The following day my car was fixed and to my belief the cost was not bad at all!! I had a caliper bolt fall off and Lexington Transmission fixed that PLUS my exhausted heat shield had fallen off and they too fixed that! All for under $100 including their labor!! Had a clutch, pressure plate, and new throw out bearing installed in my 1998 mustang cobra some time ago, just getting to this review and the guy that did it said things after picking it up that made me think, oh no. Anyhow, a month later the throw-out bearing started squealing in a hp clutch that cost a lot, they didn’t level and torque clutch properly, they charged me nearly a $1000.00 for clutch and brakes. My front brakes were clanging on rotors front pickup as well, turns out they left out the proper brake hardware to hold the caliper on rotor properly, so feeling screwed and scammed is an understatement. The best transmission shop in town they helped me quickly. They were nice. They showed me what was wrong. Everything was barely priced. The technicians were 10 out of 10. I would take my car back here every single day if I had to I wouldn’t trust anyone else Lexington.

Ted was amazing to work with. He was able to get me in right away, had the transmission issue diagnosed by lunch, and out and on my way by the end of the day. They’re reasonably priced and saved me a couple hundred dollars from the what the dealership would have charged. Highly recommend.
