Lightening 1 Autocare

It's a mechanic's garage. The people are very friendly.

We have been going on and off to Lighting Auto for quite a few years now, and through 3 different cars. Kenny REALLY knows his stuff and is super nice and explains things simply and understandably. The first time we went, we knew he was for real because he did welding on the undercarriage of an old car we still had in the 90s. Since then we have had 2 other cars, but he has always been honest about how we could order the cheapest parts, either on our own or through his connections. We saw him again today for the first time in years, and it was still the same... explaining what we needed and getting good advice along with service.

Great prices and great work, I have been dealing with this mechanic for over 15yrs and never had any issues. I send people to him and they now go back to him whenever they need work done.

Unreliable automotive technical professionals. In nyc. The typical story. After having work done on my car here. I ended up having to get all of the work redone to produce the result I wanted in the first place. I know for a fact that the diagnosis of the issue is where this shop failed. On three vehicles I know about. I took my car to someone whom I knew through a mutual friend and in 10 minutes they took care of issues that three trips to lightening did not. My second car is still having problems. And a f

Lighting Auto Repair, is right around the corner from where I currently reside, the staff there were very down to earth, and helped me. I haven't had the job that I am going to get done yet, but as soon as that happens I will be happy to post the results which I'm sure will be positive, because they really seem to have their s,,,,,, together there.
