Juan and his team are extremely honest and knowledgeable about auto repair. They are also very efficient and provide a quick turnaround. They currently have helped me with my ‘98 Honda CRV and I have full trust in them; wouldn’t recommend anyone else in northern Chicago.

Nice staff! They fixed the brake booster on my 01’ Acura MDX for a good price only took less than 2 hours. They let me bring in the part from the junk yard and just charged me for labor. They also gave me a diagnostic on what else was needed to be repaired and I appreciate how helpful they are and talk you through the parts.

The owner was present and did an excellent job of showing me the damaged muffler and tail pipe that needed replacement. The wait was about a hour and half and the price was reasonable. The staff was very kind and professional. The waiting area was very clean. I will definitely go back for other services.

Honest, family-owned business bringing top tier auto repair to the neighborhood. Juan was able to fix my coolant leak for 1/4 of what the dealership said it works cost to fix! Wish I could give more stars, highly recommend!!

After reading the rave reviews, I stopped by early March 2025 to diagnose a lingering issue with my muffler. Christian took the time to walk me through the entire exhaust system, and help me determine the best course of action. Not only were they transparent, but they fixed my issue within the same day at a very affordable price. Taking my car to the dealer would have taken multiple days, cost me more, and I would have not driven away with the same peace of mind that I got with Lightning Auto Repair. I would absolutely recommend them to friends and family.
