Call Brad with a few questions turns out I needed a transmission the very next day I was picking that transmission up from Him Great guy great employees all very personable. Super willing to help very much. Recommend Limerick transmission to anyone the man stands behind his stuff.
Had them rebuild a transmission a few years ago that i brought to them. The transmission had issues from day one after the rebuild. They had me bring drop the truck off so they could correct the problem. They pulled the transmission and redid it. They charged me for having to pull and replace the transmission. I disputed the charge but had to pay it to get my truck back. Once I got the truck home I found I was missing a very expensive flash light that I am 100 percent sure was in the truck when I dropped it off. Must have learned to walk once in Maine! Now in have found that they put the wrong dipstick in and I have been adding too much fluid to the transmission. My advice to anyone who has or will ask about transmission work is "STAY AWAY FROM LIMERICK TRANSMISSION ".
Incredibly fair pricing and honest work. They won’t oversell you on things you don’t need and they will do it right. Highly recommend
Had my truck towed to them and said I needed an estimate. No estimate given. They called back and told me the work was done and I owed 4,600 and I wont get my truck until paid. I never agreed to the service. Contacting atty. and Maine Comsumer Protection.
So this may be a long review. But it's a good one. My tranmission went caplooie. Brad is a great guy. Very honest. And diligent. Unfortunately the first round the guy he had working for him didn't do him good and in turn didn't turn out good for me. My windshield had to be replaced due to the guy that worked on my vehichle had somehow cracked it. Brad covered that and ensured that was set. Whether it was from the transmission rebuild process or not. He ensured i was set. A month in my transmission started to act up again. My local garage closer to my home pointed out transmission issues from poor installation. Brad was upset with whom worked on my vehichle and that person luckily no longer works for him. Brad took my car back in and ensured my transmission build this time was pristine. He
