This spring, I just happen to stumble upon this gem of a business. When all other companies I called said they were swamped and couldn’t help us, this company came to the rescue! We were looking for somebody who could help us with our engine that wouldn’t start and it was on our mooring at the lake. PJ came to the lake, pulled the boat out and brought it to his shop. He fixed the problem, was very communicative during the process and even relaunched our boat. Also, I can’t say enough nice things about Mary. She is the one who coordinates the job and schedules the maintenance. She was a sweetheart as well. I found out that they do more than just repair engines. Extremely satisfied. Timely diagnosed the problem and I felt the price was very fair. He seems very knowledgeable. I have felt taken advantage of at other shops so it's a given that I will be back and definitely recommend Litchfield County Marine and Auto.

I brought my 2004 stingray to PJ for excessive noise in the lower outdrive. He removed and replaced the gimbal bearing which was totally gone. He polished and cut out old bearing and replaced with new one. His price was very good and boat runs quieter and smoother great job. 👍👍

I brought my boat to have complete service had it for 8 mo after supposedly done got stuck on lake brought it back they had it for another week.Had detailing was told buff etc $800 was just washed repairs quoted $3000.was $5000+ my family was in the auto service for 33 years we never treated customers like this

Thought I needed brakes and was checked out and all is good. Honesty here for sure
