I won’t go as far to say they’re scammers, I consider myself a rational person who considers both sides but I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. Poor customer service from the slightly passive aggressive woman at the front desk. She said over the phone that the price was $253. I made sure to call in the morning and specify that I wanted a quote before any work is done (because I have had people just do the work without confirming prices beforehand). Before I got there I was thinking about how I was going to leave a great review since they got it done in a day (it is an extremely easy less than a hour fix) but obviously that didn’t end up happening. Extremely disappointed with my experience here. I brought my truck in for what I already suspected was a blown head gasket-there were no major issues beyond a check engine light. After paying $150 for diagnostics, I was told my only option was to replace the entire engine for $11,000, with no mention of any repair alternatives. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion at Joe's Automotive in Lodi, CA. Not only were they able to confirm the head gasket issue, but they also repaired it, performed machine work on the cylinder head, upgraded my engine with new rockers and other components—and all for a fraction of what I was quoted here.
