Lone Star Automotive and Diesel

Definitely recommend these guys. I have a 2500 Power Wagon that was having transmission issues. I knew it would be a rebuild most likely. They sent back the diagnostic and said they could do a couple things to fix it but there might not be a guarantee it would be fixed and they recommend a full rebuild. Which I knew would be the most likely course of action. I approved the rebuild and had it back in a week. Definitely like the front staff as they are friendly and explain what needs to be done. Im ONLY taking 1 star away because we noticed a screw in my left rear and they said they'd take care of it. Once I got home with the truck I noticed it was still in the tire. I called the shop and I wasn't charged for it which is cool with me. The transmission however shifts like warm butter. Cant ev

I was debating on whether or not to write it, then I remembered I always read reviews and sometimes we have to talk about the negative experiences to help the buisness make changes or make better decisions as consumers. I’ve been having ongoing issues with my car and had a neighing recommend Lone Star Automotive for a diagnostic before deciding on investing on fixing or selling my 2013 terrain , Monday 10/27/2025 and spoke to Raymond On the phone, I let him know why I was being my car in what I suspected and asked a ton IG questions regarding the $150 diagnostic fee . I had a great experience with Lone Star Auto. They helped me get my truck fixed quickly and did everything in a very professional way. The customer service stood out—everyone was respectful, clear, and easy to work with. They were also timely and efficient, which I really appreciated. It’s hard to find a shop you can trust, but these guys made the whole process smooth. I’d definitely recommend Lone Star Auto to anyone needing reliable work done! I will be a returning customer.

I took in my '98 Pontiac Trans am to get some work on ,the previous shop had it for almost a year with little progress and along with countless excuses! Lone Star ,in which came highly recommended 👌, took my vehicle and kept me updated on status and cost of repairs. Hats off 👏 to Ray ,who keep me up to date and is an asset to the company! His can do attitude and professionalism were appreciated!

I was trying to sell one of my trucks and there was an engine light on, the buyer was very interested but asked that I got the light resolved. It was 7:30 PM and I called Justin to see if he could take care of it for me. He said drop it off leave the keys in the slot. We’ll take care of it. The repair turned out to be more in depth than I thought, but they were able to knock it out without charging anymore than they quoted. I’ve been using them for years, and will continue!!
