LONG BEACH SMOG TEST ONLY - Star Certified

Hate to give a negative review, but don't take a car with a cat shield here. Inspector was professional but not knowledgeable. Like a lot of Californians I had my Prius catalytic converter stolen, so I replaced it with an OEM Cat and put on a Cat Shield. Without any forewarning that a cat shield would impair his testing, this inspector went ahead and tested but failed my vehicle, and failed it in a way that it was labeled as having a "tampered' cat even though it was only because he couldn't read/see an EO number. Said I had to have the cat shield removed to allow for each smog check. I explained that the shield was designed to allow for visualization of the cat, but he declined to pass it. Took it to muffler place that installed the cat, who said that the cat is visible and that the
