Long's Automotive Service Center

Took my car there to fix a loud noise on the passenger side that grew louder the faster i drove. I told the owner before he had worked on it that i had thought i had a bad wheel bearing. He had told me that it was not the bearing but my breaks. After he had replaced both of my front breaks he said that noise was not completely gone. He then said that he was sure it was the passenger side axle. This costed me close to 300$ dollars. Before leaving with my car i asked the man if the noise was gone and he reassured me that it was. The noise was STILL THERE. How do you tell someone that a noise is gone when its not? I will never go back there. Wasted my time, and my money.

It's been a while since I was at the garage and I was only there twice so it's hard to give a qualified assessment.. I want to be fair with my review and though I felt the place could have used a facelift I think the service was good and the owner was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable.

Great service. I don't understand why this place has so many few stars, they helped and didn't overcharge me for anything. The employees were extremley helpful and found what was wrong extremely quick.

Made a appt. for the next day because of how busy he was . Took care of my minor tire problem & was charged a reasonable price . Good neighborhood repair shop.

I had a prob w/my heat. Took it everywhere it seems, no one could figure it out. But these guys did and now I'm not freezing my tail off now that it's cold out.
