Was honest at first, takes for ever to finish small tasks and will tell you every day he’s almost done. It was over a week before it was all said and done and charged me insane hours worth the work for a very simple job. Would never recommend and have learned I’m not the only one who this happened too here. It’s well known around town

Lou was very accommodating initially! He took in my car for a state inspection at such late notice on a holiday so I was extremely grateful at first. But unfortunately, even after I explained that I was on a time crunch (I had a plane to catch) and he told me he would get it done by 11am, he was done at 12pm and also was not very apologetic about it. State inspection cost $75 and he charged additional fee for credit card charge without notifying me of the charge. Another nice lady was waiting for her car - apparently he had kept it for 12 days and kept telling her to come back to pick it up. Lou is a friendly person but I would not go back for any auto service regrettably.

Lou is an honest guy and good mechanic. I live about a half mile from him - last summer I suddenly had problems with my lawnmower. He drove up to my house and worked on the lawnmower and got it running. He’s a good guy.

I had stopped here because I was in plains and noticed a hole in my tire. Assuming I ran over a nail and it came out I was losing air FAST! I had sooo much to do that day and I sorta freaking out. Googled a garage closest to me that was open on a Sunday and BOOM! Drove right over and he had it fixed in 20 minutes. I couldn't have been happier. He was absolutely wonderful too!

***UHAUL****So how do you advertise renting a 10 ft truck for $19.95?!?! I went from pittston Walmart to South Wilkes Barre and put a half a tank of gas in it instead of just the quarter tank you required and I'm charged $74?!?!? That is sad, a shame really that you get away with this and you completely rip customers off Shame on Uhaul and shame on this business Lou's Auto & Repair in Plains PA that rents these U Haul trucks for not explaining all the "EXTRA" charges that come along with the $19.95 rental fee!!!!! I will never do business with a U Haul again!!!!! I truly hope this helps someone in the future from getting screwed on all their EXTRA fees!!!
